An irresistibly tasty butter, it is the result of 12 attempts to find the right amounts of hazelnut butter, honey, high-quality cocoa powder, and Himalayan pink salt. This is yet another example of our motto: "Less is More. Less ingredients, More real food!". The ingredients were chosen to create a healthier version of a spread that no one, anywhere in the world, can resist. To replace refined sugar, we chose honey, a natural liquid sweetener known for its various health benefits, such as nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants) and its low glycemic index. And we replaced milk chocolate with high-quality cocoa powder, whose health benefits have already been proven. As for the production process of the hazelnut butter, we kept the tradition, following simple but demanding steps: roasting, selection, and grinding. 1st - As with other butters, we start with roasting, an important step carried out without additives, where the hazelnuts are naturally roasted until they reach the perfect point. 2nd - After cooling, a special machine removes the skins from the hazelnuts. 3rd - The third step is to turn the roasted hazelnuts into a velvety cream, a challenging process due to the high natural oil content of hazelnuts. Unlike all other butters, Casca Rija's hazelnut butter with cocoa does not have the typical added spices. We wanted it to be simple, yet flavorful, so the 4th step of production is to add the cocoa powder and a touch of fleur de sel. 5th - Finally, the honey is added. Carefully balanced in terms of ingredients, the cocoa offers a pleasant experience, while the honey provides natural sweetness and the fleur de sel enhances the flavor of the cocoa.
